Top Item You're Not Carrying

As you read in John Farnam's quip "Age of Terrorism," there are other things you can carry every day. Check out this interesting option from guys that understand readiness.

Major events, like Vegas, induce thoughts of what you would do if placed at the scene. For me, I found one item that

I’m not carrying currently that could save my life or others in case of emergency.

Medical Kit/Tourniquet – We train constantly using guns but rarely venture outside the box. Great medical kits aren’t hard to find, but if carried saves lives. Blue Force Gear produces quality packs that have everything you need to render aid quickly.

Here’s a slim first aid kit that is easily concealed. Think a kit is too much? Why not, carry a simple tourniquet. Here’s a good one, and it won’t break the bank.
